Since its founding in 2016, the Kodrah Kristang revitalisation initiative has been fully volunteer and non-profit, and has no financial support from the Eurasian Association of Singapore, the National University of Singapore and/or any government, educational or external organisation whatsoever. Except for the 2017 board game Ila-Ila di Sul / The Southern Islands and the 2017 card deck Bista di Kristang / A Glimpse of Kristang, all of the items on sale here were created, designed and prepared for professional and public dissemination by one single person, the 13th Kabesa of the Kristang people Tuan Raja Naga Kevin Martens Wong Zhi Qiang, and represent the proud continuing tradition of Kristang homecooked (or homepublished) independent excellence. We use a professional Singapore-based print shop (PrintTyrant at CityGate in Singapore) to print and prepare all items except Ila-Ila di Sul and Bista di Kristang (which were produced in bulk in 2017) for distribution. All proceeds generated from the sale of these items go exclusively to Kodrah Kristang and toward developing further additional revitalisation books and material, and supporting costs related to the hiring of venues for Kristang classes, activities, workshops and talks hosted by Kodrah.
How to order
Drop an email to kodrahkristang at gmail dot com inquiring about the item you would like to buy. We will follow up with an email advising you on payment details and collection options if you live in Singapore, as well as delivery options and the additional costs for international shipping if you live outside of Singapore. As the entire Kodrah Kristang revitalisation effort consists of a two-man volunteer team with no money to rent a large warehouse space or produce items in bulk, we produce all items in small batches based on demand, and we will thus also advise you on how long it may take for you to receive your item; if you live in Singapore, you can generally expect your item within two weeks.
